Liliendaal, Georgetown-Venezuela ’s President Hugo Chavez is confident that the leadership capabilities and the will of President Bharrat Jagdeo will make him an effective Chairman of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and he will lead the body into success with objectivity and bring about concrete actions. President Chavez made this remark to the media while attending the 1V Regular Summit of UNASUR held in Guyana.

Skeldon, Berbice-The Ministry of Labour, Human Services and Social Security in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) will participate in the signing of the Skeldon Declaration and opening of the first White Zone on Monday. The Hon. Priya Manickchand, Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Hon. Robert Persaud, Minister of Agriculture, Cabinet members, and Stakeholders will be participating in this event.
