Persad-Bissessar returns home; excited about international discussions
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has returned home after a nine-day trip to the United States.
Persad-Bissessar arrived at Piarco International Airport on board a Caribbean Airline’s flight around 6 a.m. today.
She left this country on September 20 and addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Monday.
Caribbean trakker News today spoke to a senior officer in the Criminal Investigation Department, who confirmed reports of the capture of wanted ex-soldier Keron Hebert suspected of being part of two murders and robberies in Bartica.
A farewell parade was held for female assistant commissioner Ms. Paulette Veronica Morrisson who has retired from the Guyana Police Force. Morrisson told a large gathering of young police officers to work diligently, honest, punctual and to follow the motto of the force which is to serve and protect.
