Late yesterday around 11:30 pm, 54 year old businessman Erick Ramkissoon and his family who operates a grocery shop and a liquor restaurant at Main Street Corriverton, Berbice was attacked and robbed by seven armed men with guns.
According to police commander of that division Steve Marrai, Ramkissoon and his wife were in the upper flat of the building and their two sons were downstairs tending the business when the bandits held them up at gunpoint.
