Works Minister Jack Warner has threatened legal action against the Caribbean Communication Network (CCN) over the publication of an article from a Norway Newspaper.
In the Dagbladet newspaper article, Warner is alleged to be involved in a black market ring selling football tickets.
Warner is also the Vice President FIFA, world football governing body.
Three men have been detained by detectives following an attempted kidnapping in San Fernando.
According to police reports Kelly Babwah and Louis Villafana were seated in a BMW at Retrench Village when they were approached by three men.
The couple were taken to an abandoned house and a $70, 000 ransom were
demanded for their safe release.
While on the way to Villafana’s home to get their reward the three suspects
were held.
