Port-of-Spain: The last few moments of the Parade of the Bands at the Queen's Park Savannah was marred by violence last night, leaving masqueraders scampering for safety.
Hundreds of masqueraders from Dream Team were denied their time on the big stage as they were forced to run across instead to avoid the melee.
At least one man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the neck during the melee.
The incident took place on the edge of the route, but escalated and made its way unto the drag just before the big stage.
The incident left many masqueraders angry and disrupted the smooth flow of bands.
