Tobago: Transport and Tourism Secretary in the Tobago House of Assembly Oswald Williams isaccusing Transport Minister Devant Maharaj of refusing to meet with him to discuss support for Tobago's tourism from national airline Caribbean Airlines.
Williams says he wrote Minister Maharaj on February 8th asking him for an urgent meeting to treat with the issue which he described as a most vexing question that was critical to Tobago's tourism development.
Williams says he was told by Minister Maharaj that the issue was discussed at meetings which he did not attend and advised him to request an update from his colleagues.
Williams for his part claims he is unaware of the colleagues to whom Minister Maharaj is referring.
