State your views says Prime Minister

Prime Minister of Barbados Frendel Stuart, has criticize Leader of the Opposition Owen Arthur for his silence on issues related to the social well being of the country.

Speaking before a large gathering at a combined meeting of the Christ Church branches of the Democratic Labour Party held at the Christ Church Foundation School, Stuart listed several social issues  on which  Arthur should break  his silence on.

"No one knows his views on labour, because he has never spoken on it, no one knows what his views are on education,because he has never spoken on that either, he has spoken on the cost of education but not about education itself. No one knows his views on the women question either , because he has never spoken on it", Stuart said.

"All he has ever talked about is he GDP (Gross Domestic Product), foreign reserves and current account deficts. All of these things are important in themselves but were are not just economic beings, we are  social beings as well", the Prime Minister added.
