The police are investigating the death of Ernest DaCosta Edwards, 73, a patient of the Psychiatric Hospital.
He was stabbed to death this morning during an altercation with a 44 year old male patient, at the Black Rock, St Michael institution.
According to a souce, the other man whose name has not been released by the police has been a patient at the Psychiatric Hospital since 2002, after he was found to be unfit to plead to a murder charge by the High Court.
