A fire destroyed a storage facility last night at Rising Sun, Balls, Christ Church.
Owner of storage facility businessman Shan Juman, told the press over $100,000 were lost in the fire including five machines and a truck value at $58,000.
Juman said one of the machines produced foam for mattresses for his company Sleeprite Barbados Limited.
He added that the fire was a major set back to his business which had seen a 32 decline in sales in the past year.
Two Barbados Fire Service tenders and 11 firemen under the command of deputy Fire Officer Errol Maynard responded to the blaze.
