PM attends global energy seminar in India

Prime Minister Samuel Hinds was among more than 50 Ministers and Senior Government officials of different countries, United Nations bodies and Non Governmental Organisations   attending the two-day Global Ministerial Level “International Seminar on Energy Access” in New Delhi, India.

The seminar is seen as an international platform for Government, private sector, and non-governmental leaders to jointly address the goal of achieving energy access.

The United Nations General Assembly has designated 2012 as the International Year of Sustainable Energy for All, in recognition of the importance of energy access for sustainable economic development and supporting achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
