Georgetown: Government will introduce amendments to the laws soon which will see more judges being added to the High Court.
The announcement was made by Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Anil Nandlall, Thursday evening during the first sitting of the National Assembly.
The shortage has been blamed on the massive backlog of cases in the High Court which has stifled the justice system.
