Rio Claro: Police are searching for a 47-year-old gardener following the murder of a Rio Claro woman and the chopping of her son and daughter-in-law.
Reports by police indicate that Julie Parris was spending time at the home of her son Brian and daughter-in-law Lucy at their Navet Village home, when a man against whom she had a restraining order entered. An argument ensued and the man reportedly began to stab the 44 year-old woman about the body.
He then turned his attention to the woman's 22 year-old son and his 20 year-old wife, chopping them about the body. Parris died on the spot, while her son and his wife were taken to hospital where they remain.
