Georgetown : Private contractors that remove garbage from the city have once again down tools.TrakkerNews understands since yesterday the garbage collectors, Puran Brothers and Cevons have seized operations because of millions of dollars owed to them by the Mayor and City Council ( M&CC).There has since been a pile up of garbage on the streets of the capital city, Georgetown.
A few months ago the President Bharrat Jagdeo had to intervene in a similar situation and bail out the M&CC.
