Georgetown : Attorney at Law Anil Nandlall acting on behalf of the chairman of the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC), Bishop Juan Edghill, this afternoon delivered a lawsuit to proprietor of CNS TV in excess of $50M.
The legal document stated that both commentator Anthony Vieira and publisher CNS 6, Chandrenarine Sharma are guilty of slanderous statements made on a commentary by Vieira aired on May 4th, 2011.
Last week Sharma made a public apology to Edghill and responded to a letter send by the Advisory Committee on Broadcasting (ACB) on infringements of his license.
