Donald Ramotar says Granger grew up in a political party that imposed dictatorship.

Georgetown: "I was fighting against what he was defending", the words of PPP presidential candidate Donald Ramotar responding to a question about the difference between himself and PNC/R presidential candidate David Granger and why people should vote for him. Ramotar said; "I grew up in a political party that has always been fighting for democracy and social progress, while Granger grew up in a political party that imposed dictatorship in this country". He told the press that there are a lot of differences between himself and Granger. He added that the process is not only about electing a political party, but the whole issue of a choice between progress which the PPP represents and retrogression which Granger supports.
