Cricketer fined $450

Bridgetown.

Fast bowler, Tino Best was order to pay two forthwith fines after he was convicted of two traffic violations  in the Bridgetown Traffic Court yesterday.

Best had been accused of insulting Constable Kenroy Ashton by call him a nigger,on February 28.

He was also charged with leaving his vehicle on a footpath on St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, and failing to comply with a lawful direction given by Ashton on February 28.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick, fined Best $200 forthwith or one week in jail for leaving the vehicle on the footpath.

Best was also fined $200 forthwith or a similar time in prison for not obeying the order of the Constable.

The charge of insulting the lawman was dismissed.
