Berbice : The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at on the No. 72 Village Public Road, Corentyne, yesterday which resulted in the death of Satesh Ramdas, 29 years, of No. 72 Village.
It is alleged that Satesh Ramdas was lying on the roadway and was run-over by a motor pick-up vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the Skeldon Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
