Students Required to Return Text Books

Ministry of EducationGeorgetown: The Ministry of Education announced that all students sitting the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations and their parents and guardians that all textbooks issued by the Ministry through their school must be returned as soon as exams have ended.

Students who fail to return the textbooks, which were loaned to them by their school, will not be able to access their CXC results.  This request is in keeping the Ministry’s Textbook Policy, which states, “Learners must return books before Progress Reports, Examination Results, Recommendations, or References are uplifted.”

The Ministry is forced to adopt this unfortunate position in an effort to provide adequate text books and similar opportunities to the next batch of students.
