According to reports the 47 route minibus refused to stop at the junction between Oronoque and Lance Gibbs streets when an oncoming yellow cab smashed into rear side sending it toppling several yards before landing in a ditch. Residents who heard the impact saw a shocking sight, as the young mother who was in the front seat flew about 30 feet up in the air and landed head first into an empty lot.
