Georgetown: Government says work on the Amaila Falls access road is progressing. Minister of Finance Dr. Ashni Singh says the contractor, China Railway, is executing work on the challenging aspect of the road.
Dr. Singh added that a financial review is being conducted for the hydro power project. The Amaila Falls hydro power project is identified under Guyana’s Low Carbon Development Strategy as a transformative initiative.
