Georgetown: A pregnant 29 year old Amerindian was Thursday afternoon airdashed from Mabaruma, Region one, but was later pronounced dead after delivering premature twins at her home on the Aruka River and suffered post partum haemorrhage.
Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), the Nation's provider of Health Services says that she arrived at the GPHC at 6.24 p.m. was unresponsive and succumbed at 6.44 p.m. GPHC extended sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
