Dottin goes to the High Court

COMMISSIONER OF POLICE Darwin Dottin has filed an injuction in the High Court against the Attorney General and the Police Service Commission (PSC)  over the decsion to remove him from office.

On Monday Dottin received a letter signed by chairman of the PSC Guyson Mayers, informing him  that he was being sent on administrative leave with immediate effect until further notice and that the Governor General has been advised that he be retired from the office of Police Commissioner in the public interest.

Yesterday a legal team headed by Elliott Mottley, QC, filed an suit in the High Court challenging the decision to remove Dottin from the office of Commissioner.
