Woman and Canadian son nabbed at CJIA with cocaine in suitcases

Georgetown : At about 2:35pm today ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch conducted searches on the baggage of a Guyanese woman and her Canadian son who were passengers on an outgoing flight at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport .
A total of 10 kilograms 503 grams of cocaine were found concealed in the false walls of their suitcases.
They are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
