Georgetown : Former Genera Manager of the Guyana Broadcasting Service, Hugh Cholmondeley died last night in the United States of America after being diagnosed and treated for lung cancer.
The 73 year old Cholmondeley, the father of AFC member of Parliament Cathy Hughes, served as a mentor to many journalists and worked for the Guyana Elections Commission and CARICOM as a consultant.
