Port-of-Spain: Conflicting reports this aftrernoon as to whether or not members of the Venezuelan Nacional Guard shot at a boat with workers of energy company Trinmar in the Gulf of Paria separating Trinidad and Venezuela.
The local coast guard says it is investigating a report on the incident but cannot confirm reports just yet but the Oilfields Workers Trade Union which represents the workers says it has an eye witness account of the incident.
