Georgetown: Minister of Home Affairs, Clement Rohee says a Senior Training Officer from the Police Training College in the United Kingdom [UK] is expected to provide training to police officers within the Guyana Police Force.
This was disclosed at the Peoples Progressive Party [PPP] weekly press conference Monday morning. Underscoring that while he was attending a high level meeting in Moscow, he met with senior police officers from other countries and, who have all made offers provide training to Guyana’s police ranks, Rohee said that Guyana will take up the offers, some at government’s cost, some at their cost.
