Linden : Police ranks conducted a narcotics eradication operation at Moblissa Backdam, Linden/Soesdyke Highway over the weekend and found two fields with about 4,000 cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants ranging between 2 feet and 5 feet in height, along with two nurseries containing approximately 20,000 seedlings and two tarpaulin camps.
The marijuana plants, seedlings and camps were destroyed. Two persons have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
