Non profit organisation to spend $200Million on development projects.

Georgetown: Food For the poor Guyana Incorporated plans to spend some $200M on community development projects, as it observes its 20th anniversary.The week long anniversary celebrations began yesterday, with a church service at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Pike and Sheriff Streets,
Georgetown.
The church’s Deacon, Conrad Plumber thanked the organization for being resolute in reaching out to the less fortunate in society and has charged the nation to follow this path. Food For The Poor is set to commission a housing scheme, called ‘Georgeville’, at Capoey on the Essequibo Coast on Thursday.
