Two men charged with stealing money from QEH

Bridgetown.

Two men have been arrested and charged with stealing $560,000 from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).

Dwight Robert Jordan, 30, a clerical officer at the QEH and Gay Harcourt Gibbson, 63, a contractor of Deacons Road, St Michael were arrested by members of the Fraud Squad over the weekend.

They have been jointly charged with two 13 counts of theft of money, while Jordan was additionally charged with 12 counts of falsifying accounts and Gibbson with one charge of money laundering.

Jordan and Best appeared in the District "A " Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon and were remanded to HMP Dodds until February 25.
