Twenty-one-year-old Shelly-Ann Maxwell and 22-year-old Cordel Steer, both of Portmore addresses in St Catherine were found dead in an area off the Bernard Lodge main road in the parish this morning.
Reports from the Portmore Police are that about 3:00 am residents heard explosions and summoned them.
Lawmen who responded found the bodies with gunshot wounds in huts. The crime scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue.
The Portmore Police are investigating.
