Georgetown : Shafaur Alli, 27 years and sister Lazena Imrazie, both of La Jalousie, West Coast Demerara (WCD) were charged with the seizure of cocaine in frozen fish at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport for the purpose of trafficking and were remanded until July 06, 2016.
Tazim Gafoor, 43 years, a businessman, of Windsor Forest, WCD, was charged with perverting the course of justice in connection with the said matter. He pleaded not guilty and was placed on $200,000.00 bail. The case was also postponed to July 06, for trial.
