Georgetown : Acting commissioner of Police David Ramnarine has confirmed this morning that seven of the 13 Lusignan prison escapees were recaptured last evening by members of the joint services. Three were caught along the Mon Repos road at East Coast Demerara. Those are Odel Roberts, Jamal Forde, Rayon Jones.
Winston Long and Teshawn McKenzie were caught near the route 44 mini bus park in Georgetown while Jason Howard and Jamal Joseph captured in Norh Ruimveldt area in Georgetown.
Still on the run are Paul Goriah, Shawn Hinds, Clive Forde, Pascal Smith, Kerry Cormwell Kendall Skeete who dug their way out of the pasture holding area at Lusignan Sunday night digging a five feet long hole under a fence.
The others on the run who broke out of rhe Camp Street Prison on July 9th, 2017 are Mark Royden, Stafrei Hopkinson, Uree Varswyck and Desmond James.
