Sections of Kingston flood out due to negligence of Koker operator

Georgetown : Residents of Kingston woke up this morning to find their homes under water. One family told this publication that their losses went into millions of dollars destroying furniture, electrical appliances etc. The flooding according to the residents came after the night koker operator did not close the koker door at its scheduled time. At the time there was high tide coupled with heavy rains

Areas affected are the head office of the Demerara Distillers Limited Head Office, Appeal Court, and Office of the Prime Minister.
