Georgetown : The police this afternoon confirmed that relatives of miner Gavin Mc Neil who was shot and killed during an armed robbery at his home at Mc Doom Village, East Bank Demerara, on February 20, 2013, and who were also victims of the robbery, refused to attend an identification parade arranged by the police for a second suspect.
This the lawmen say is avoiding progress in the investigations into this matter which are being vigorously pursued by the police.
The relatives had previously refused to attend an identification parade for another suspect in the incident, which had been arranged by the police on February 27, 2013.
