Georgetown: Members of the Guyana Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GBCHA) and other organisations once again collaborated with the National AIDS Programme Secretariat (NAPS) to set up HIV Testing sites for the National Week of Testing which was observed from November 29 to December 1st, 2012.
The local theme for this year’s observance was “Zero Stigma; Get Tested" in keeping with the overall theme of “Getting to Zero.”

The GBCHA is located at Lot 108 Orange Walk, Bourda, Georgetown.

The following GBCHA companies hosted HIV Testing sites at their workplaces in and out of Region four: Bank of Nova Scotia, Banks DIH Limited, Demerara Distillers Limited, Guyana Forestry Commission, GraceKennedy Remittance Services, Guyana Lottery Company, Guyana National Shipping Corporation, Guyana Revenue Authority, Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company, Institute of Private Enterprise Development, National Milling Company of Guyana (NAMILCO), Neal & Massy (Guyana) Group of Companies and Sterling Products Limited.

This year the National Week of Testing activities culminated on World AIDS Day which is a day dedicated to raising awareness and showing care and support for persons infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. As such the GBCHA would like to urge all persons to know their status.
