Prime Minister holding investment talks in Canada

Bridgetown.

Prime Minister Freundel Stuart is in Canada wooing potential investors in Toronto over the weekend.

He will address the Toronto Board of Trade today and is slated to give the keynote address at the Barbados Charity Ball where he will update those in attendance on the Network Conference to be held at  the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in August, as well as plans for the upcoming Crop Over season.

The Ball, which is in its nineth year, raises funds to help Barbadian students and other worthwhile causes including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

This year, renowned local chef Peter Edy and the band Krosfyah will be feature at the Ball.The promotional tour was organized by Invest Barbados and the Barbados High Commission in Canada.

Stuart returns to Barbados on Monday.  Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy has been appointed to act as Prime Minister while Stuart is away from the island.
