President to address FITUG’s Biennial Conference

 

Georgetown : The Country’s majority labour Union Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Guyana (FITUG) convenes its Biennial Conference tomorrow at the Regency Suites Hotel, Hadfield Street, Georgetown.

Delegates representing some 35,000 workers from four trade Unions will listen to addresses by His Excellency,  Donald Ramotar, Dr. NK Gopaul- Minister of Labour and Carvil Duncan – President of FITUG.

Key issues arising from socio-economic and political development in Guyana, as these affect the working class labour movement and industrial relations as well as regional and international matters will be discussed by delegates.

The charge to delegates will be given by Mr. Ashton Chase.
