East Coast Demerara : Today at around 4pm, ranks of a mobile police patrol stopped and searched a man at Prince William Street, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara, in whose possession they found 102 grams of cannabis sativa.
A further search was conducted on his home during which an unlicensed 9mm. Taurus pistol was found.
He has been arrested and is in police custody. Charges will be made shortly.
