Police hunting for men who attacked and robbed the Prime Minister’s brother

Kingston.

The police are hunting for two men who attacked and robbed Vincent Simpson  the brother of Prime Minister Portia Simpson.

A section of King Street between Water Lane and Harbour Street, in downtown Kingston, was blocked by police investigators shortly after the attack, as they searched for clues.

Initial reports are that Simpson was at premises on King Street early yesterday morning when two men entered through a window and attacked him.

They reportedly beat him repeatedly before escaping with a cellular phone, a quantity of cash, and other items. He  was subsequently admitted in hospital.

According to reports, the Prime Minister visited her injured brother in hospital.
