Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch is pleading with Barbadians not to post pictures tragedies on social media.

Last Friday the body of Kirk Brennan Edwards was posted on Facebook and other social media seconds after he fell to his death from a high rise car park in Chapel Street, Bridgetown.

"We are quite concern about the practice of person sending photographs of the deceased, especially those who have died in a violent manner", says Welch.

"The Royal Barbados Police Force thinks this practice is quite insensitive and we are asking persons to desist from doing this", Walsh told Trakker News.

"I think it would be quite disheartening to find out about the death of a relative in that sort of way", he added.
