West Coast Demerara : The police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred at Wallers Delight Public Road, West Coast Demerara (WCD), and which resulted in the death of pedestrian Simon Bachu, of Wallers Delight Squatting Area, WCD.
A police report states the pedestrian ran over the road and was struck down, by a motor vehicle in the process. He was taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
