One percent of Dominica’s international reserves to be deposited in ALBA bank

Dominica: Dominica is among an eight-nation bloc of Latin American and Caribbean countries which agreed on Sunday to deposit one percent of their international reserves into a jointly administered development bank as they seek to deepen economic cooperation, according to a report on Dominca NewsOnline.

The countries that have agreed to deposit 1 percent of their international reserves in the ALBA Bank include members Cuba, Ecuador, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The new bank is to provide financing for economic development projects.
