Berbice : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred on the main road at Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice and which resulted in the death of motor cyclist Suraj Chandradai, 35 years, of Bath.
Investigations so far have revealed that Suraj Chandradai allegedly drove out of an access road unto the main road and into the path of a motor van and was struck down. He was taken to the Fort Wellington Hospital where he succumbed while receiving medical treatment.
The driver of the motor van is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
