Berbice : Sasenarine Persaud called “Suraj” of No. 70 Village, Corentyne, intervened in an argument between his step-father and some men when he was assaulted and chopped about his body.
The 17 year old mechanic was taken to the Skeldon Hospital where he was pounced dead.
A suspect who was subsequently found with injuries is presently under guard at the New Amsterdam Hospital.
