Essequibo : The police are investigating the murder of Terry Warrenof Mango Creek, Pomeroon River, which occurred sometime Sunday last, at Mango Creek.
According to the police, the 24 year old Terry Warren and a group of men were socialising at a home at Mango Creek, when he decided that he was leaving and taking away his electrical generator that he had brought with him and which was providing power.
It is alleged that the other men became annoyed and beat and chopped Terry Warren about his body. The body is at the Suddie Hospital mortuary.
A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
