Port-of-Spain: Labour Minsiter Errol McLeod has condemned in the strongest possible terms the reported acts of violence that have taken place against workers of Trinidad Cement Limited.
Yesterday a bus transporting 25 female workers came udner attack by protesting TCL workers.
McLeod says such acts including those reported against the police at TIWU headquarters have no place in the practice of industrial relations in a civilized society and it is hoped that the perpetrators of such alleged acts will be brought to justice.
He expressed deep concern about the effects of the industrial action on the workers, its representative union the employed and the public.
