Jamaica wins regional cricket competition.

Jamaica won the finals of the West Indies Cricket Board four day competition when they defeated the Combined Campuses and Colleges by 8 wickets (CCC) at the 3W's Oval this afternoon.

The defending champions were 106 runs for three wickets overnight  after dismissing the CCC for 112 yesterday.

Their innings ended at 225 for 9 wickets, Brandon Nash did not bat because of an injury, captain Tamar Lambert top scored with 41 runs.

Off-spinner Ryan Austin took 4 wickets for 81 runs and left arm spinner Kavesh Kanatasingh claimed  4 wickets for  89 runs.

After an opening partnership of 56 runs between Omar Phillips and Rommel Currency, the CCC were routed for 122 runs in their second innings, leg spinner Odean Brown and left arm spinner Nikita Miller shared 7 wickets, the CCC lost ten wickets for 66 runs.

Jamaica need just  10 runs to win the match lost 2 wickets for 15 to compete victory in 2 days.

This is the  fourth four consecutive year that Jamaica have won the competition under the leadership of Temar Lambert.

Odean  Brown was the Man of the Match.
