Granger says special focus will be placed at polling stations

Georgetown : Elected People’s National Congress presidential candidate, David Granger in an exclusive interview with TrakkerNews said, come at this year’s elections,  there will be special emphasis placed at all polling stations around the country.

The former army chief said there were evidence of discrepancies at polling stations at the last two elections where there were no representative from opposition parties at certain Amerindian areas especially along the Berbice River,  this he said will not happen this round since many of his former colleges and trained army personnel have signaled their availability to be scrutineers. Granger said his party will have to get over 6000 persons on the ground overlooking the polls.

General election is expected late August this year.
