Guyana Goldfield Inc. /AGM Inc expends US$3.5 M for set up

GoldfieldGeorgetown: A 600-bed camp facility arrived in Guyana for GGI/AGM Inc. This camp is required to meet the immediate housing needs of the construction crew. The Camp facilities are expected to be set up and be ready in a few weeks when a more aggressive approach to complete the construction of the mine and to keep the timeline commitments for the completion of the project.

Three (3) main contractors will be used by AGM Inc. to facilitate the transportation and setting up of the camp: GNIC (Stevedoring and Barging services), Trail Boss Trucking Services (inland logistics) and Andre Mona Construction (Camp Installation) (all companies are 100% Guyanese). In addition AGM Inc. plans to construct an additional 400 Bed facility inclusive of Offices, recreational facilities, medical centre, auditorium, etc. the total cost of the camp, transportation and installation is $3.5 M US.

The Aurora Project is located in Region 7 Cuyuni-Mazaruni. It is expected to be in production in 2015.
