Georgetown : During this morning Adony James, 31 years, of Roxanne Burnham Gardens, Georgetown; Sheldon Chase, 28 years of Pike Street, Kitty: Doonauth Ketwaroo called “Pumpkin”, 27 years, of Good Hope, East Coast Demerara; Tony Thomas, 27 years, of Bel Air, Georgetown; and Michael Lewis called “Jet lee”, 37 years, of Sheriff Street, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Ms. Ann Mc Lennon at the Georgetown Magistrate Court on the charge of murder.
They were remanded to prison until May 21, 2014.
The charges stem from investigations conducted into the kidnap and murder of businessman Rajendra Singh of Enmore, ECD, whose body was found in the Le Repentir Cemetery on April 09, 2014. He had been kidnapped on April 05, 2014
